So much to do and so little time...

So the pre-travel plans are well underway, Rich has moved out and Kaz will move out and now... Ben and I are moving out too! The timing is financially awkward but stuffwise- it couldn't have been better. Instead of moving into our little two-bed lurve nest in Bromsgrove with nothing because we've blown all our money on a sofa, telly, washing machine and freezer (£££) etc. We are moving with a MASSIVE amount of stuff, kindly donated by my downsizing travel buddies- whoop!

As for actual travel plans, it's going well. After more research it seemed flying to Moscow would be quicker and cheaper than catching a succession of trains. We have now booked a flight from London to Moscow on the 26th July, T minus 74 days and counting! We also got very excited whilst we booked a 3 week tour of China. We had worried about how we could get by in China in some of the more remote areas and after talking to friends/family who had experienced it first hand we decided it might be near impossible to survive for a month with none of us speaking Chinese and the rural Chinese people speaking no (Brummy) English either! The tour will take us everywhere we wanted to go, to do some things that we wanted to do already but with no enforced itineries AND we get to sleep on a river boat! It'll be great because we'll end up in Hong Kong for a week before heading into Nepal to get trekking.

So... lots still to do, more flights to be booked, more jabs to be jabbed, our visas to apply for, different travel monies to sort out... 74 days seems like a long time, but I have a feeling it's going to fly by!
